Specialized Podiatry X-Rays
Our office utilizes specialized x-ray equipment that takes images of your feet while you are standing and bearing weight.
These specialized weight-bearing x-ray images provide a more accurate representation of how your legs, ankles, and feet function while you are walking and standing.
This imaging technique helps to identify the biomechanical source of your foot or ankle problem and direct customized treatment plans that fit your needs.
All the imaging at InStride Capital Foot & Ankle Centers are digitized, securely stored in the cloud, and can be viewed in the treatment rooms.
What Makes Podiatry X-Rays Unique?
These specialized images capture a more accurate representation of your foot and how it functions while walking. Most problems occur with standing and walking and we can identify subtle issues with bone shapes, angles, spurs, and joints that could otherwise be missed with traditional radiography.
Once the x-rays have allowed us to identify structural abnormalities in the patient's feet, we are then able to deliver more appropriate treatment that is based on the information provided to us not only by the patient but also by the knowledge provided to us by our x-rays.
Do I Need Podiatry X-rays?
If you are experiencing pain, discomfort, bumps, bruises, stiffness, aches or most other foot problems, we have specialized x-rays for the foot and ankle.
These investments allow for quality care for our patients and deliver excellent results. Our team at Capital Foot and Ankle Centers will work with you to best determine if x-rays are necessary for the treatment of your condition!
